Sawing off a shot gun

Why does everyone always say short cylinder choked barrels are useless? I love mine its 18.5" fixed cylinder. Patterns for great skeet shooting. Perfect bunny barrel for stomping stump piles and amazing for a dog vrs coon fight. Can't hold a beagle by the tail and pop a coon behind the head with a 28" barrel. I have a 3" 5shot group with slugs at 50 yards off hand. I might not be able to break a clay target at 45 yards everytime but I can make a lot of dust clouds on the skeet range. Even with a pistol grip
