I dipped my toe on this road earlier this year. I emailed and was told to make a RMA request on their website, which I did. I was expected to pay shipping to them. They could not confirm that the scope's issue would be covered by warranty or the return shipping. Given the risk of a huge repair bill, I decided to live with the issue.
