So these will work in tactical models then right like the sr22? I heard the plastics didn’t and needed to be tweaked in order to work properly

All you need to do with the plastic one is remove a bit of material from the adapater where the chassis interferes. Very simple and quick fix.

Is that it? I heard since the mag well was deeper in the tactical models the problem was that the button to release the mag sat in the mag well so it didn’t quite work just wanna be sure before a $100+ purchase.

I use one in my SR-22 and my 10/22 Tactical and they work just fine after the trimming. Again, I'm referring to the original plastic one, not this aluminum version.

So are the black 597 magazines good with this new adapter? I seem to remember you guys recommending only using the clear ones before?
 
I had one of the plastic ones did work at all constant jams bought this aluminum one and it works amazingly no stoppages using the same ammo as last time blazer 40grain round nose ammo only issue I had was with winchester 333 hollow points hut they were really flat nosed ammo.
