Buck ,yes I will look into it .I they are both " Tri-26" and in 24 Million serial number, they are both in 1980 (or 81 per some sources). More research avail if you look.

Scianna . Your eyes are much better than mine and the rifle is right in front of me .I see 2 pins but better take the stock off first to make sure.

L, in your photo look just to the left of the cross bolt, looks like two pins just above the wood stock. Once you take the rifle apart it will stand out, but it could be some stamped numbers is my thinking.Is there anyway you could point out the pins you see on the picture ?
