So I took a chance on one of the single shot 22's at Tradex with the double set triggers almost a couple years ago.

Long story short, life happens, and I haven't been able to really go shooting for way too long, but I fixed that today and tried this thing out on propper targets with decent ammo. This thing is a behemoth, around 16lbs with a 28.5" barrel. The double set trigger is supposed to be set at 1.5oz, with no creep. Today was the first time I've really shot for groups with it, and I'm impressed. I pretty much suck at shooting, especially with irons, but this thing seems like it will make anyone look like a hero. These were shot with Eley Practice, with a bag for a front rest and adjusting the butt hook for elevation.

I think the inconsistent groups are partly due to the rear sight being loose, I noticed that and tightened the screws for the last 2 groups, the rest of them were shot with it loose, but mostly with the brim of my hat touching the rear peep for each shot. I can't wait to try it again with some slightly bigger targets and a better rest. Time to invest in a good diopter and some higher end ammo too I think.
