I'm going to buy another .22 . I'm looking at both the Russian Vostok single shot and the Schultz and Larsen.
Both have similar features , rear aperture and tunnel front sight , similar weight , heavy barrels, etc.
Both were made as target rifles.
They are close to the same price. Both need the stocks cleaned up and redone. ( I would oil finish).
Does anybody have both , or had both at one time , and could share their opinions or preference for one over the other? I would suspect them both to be acceptably accurate. The Russian seems to be a little more rare these days. Any thoughts?
