The only adjustment I have is the adjustment on the ocular lens. Are you adjusting the parallex?

The only adjustment I have is the adjustment on the ocular lens.
That is for focusing the reticle.
YesYes.... That's the one...... Have you tried adjusting it while looking through the scope in a natural position until you get full sight window?
I don't think it's the scope or mounts. I think that the fact I have to lean into the shot is moving the gun out of the sweet spot and causing me to have a bad grip and then not being able to control the recoil properly. The only answer seems to be the stock is to long. Sound right?
yes the first pic feels good the second pic is where I'm stretching my neck, but it's where I need to be. I'm planning on a new scope but think I will have the same issue , as I do have a 3 inch eye relief on this one.I thought the first pic looked normal/fine. The second one you are closer to the scope..... Hard to say without being there.
You are not out anything by upgrading from that scope, if anything it will be an improvement.
Yes four inch relief would be perfect. What about the fact that my scope and rings is all the way back , at the furthest adjustment . This is OK?Ok, looking at your pics, you seem to be practicing good technique..... But you are correct, you are more than 2.5 inches away...... And European guns do tend to have a longer lop than some others, so maybe you just need a scope with more eye relief.....
Nice tuque eh!
it was only -2 , I was only wearing a T-ShirtIt's ok, I had that on my 223 yote rifle as I hunt very cold weather and wear lots of clothing.......![]()
mine is 14 inchesIs it possible for you to shoulder a friends rifle, see how it feels and compare to yours? Measure length of pull on yours, from the trigger to butt. Should be somewhere in the 13.5-13.75" range(usually).
