I've read some very good reviews for these cams, but I'm waiting for "Chasingame" to release the review of the UWAY NT50IR...supposed to be "THE" cam to get.
They are second to none to deal with!! I had a small probably that I couldn't figure out and they went above and beyond helping me through it as I am old school and not up to date with the new techhi stuff. If you do a search you should find some info as they came highly recommended to me. I have two of these now and just waiting for the reveiw on the Uway. I will be buying another camera and it will either be a Scoutguard or a Uway and it will come from Trail & Security HCO!!
If you pm me I will send you copies of my emails to and from them.

Your friend is using an older Bushy, or is it the newer Bushnell TROPHY cams ??
the Bushnell Trail Scout cameras were JUNK. If you find one that still works, it likely takes poor photos (Like mine does). The new Trophy Cam seems to be a great unit.
From what I can dig up, the scoutguard and the Bushnell Trophy cam are almost identical except for the shell and the fact the Bushnell does not need the plug in remote to operate it. So maybe the bushnell will be easier to find.
Th trailnsecuritycameras site seems to be place. I think you find will them on Amazon and Ebay as well.
A guy on Ontario Trophy bucks has one or two and posted nice pics, I like the fact that it uses AA batteries and does so at an efficient rate, its very compact and has plug in remote viewer which can be handy. I thought my Moultrie D-40 was pretty good for the money I spent....a Bear pushed in the white lens / sensor thing so Ill have think about an enclosure for whatever camera I buy this year.
