I just picked up another new shotgun this weekend, as I was reading the manual it says that you should lubricate the threads on the chokes before screwing them on. I have never lubricated the threads before in my life, so I decided to follow the instructions on the manual and so I did it. Anyways when I was at the range shooting at clays I noticed that the chokes were coming loose after 5-10 rounds all day long and I needed to keep making sure they were tightened.
My question is do you guys think that the chokes were coming loose cause I lubricated the threads?
