Scumbags!!!!!!

Looks like a roofing job. Part of the blame for this type of being stupid is the municipality for not allowing free dumping at the dump. Free dumping may help to reduce this.
In our local paper there was a story of a couch being dumped and a wallet found behind the pillows. The owner of the wallet told the police that he lost his wallet and the couch was not his? End of story.

'No officer, that's not my couch. No officer, I really don't recall the last time I had it. No officer, I've never watched a hockey game at someone else's house.'

It is a crying shame no doubt. I spend a fair bit of time out in the boonies Zukying around and it never ends. New piles of crap everywhere. Part to blame is the dump tipping fees.
I went to the dump a while back with a trailer full of tree clippings, leaves and grass cuttings. I had a few wooden pallets and the dump attendant wanted ten bucks for the load. S'cuze me? Short of the pallets, the rest is compost material, which is free. I took the pallet home and cut them up for kindling for camping. The rest went into the garbage can piece by piece.
Sooooo, what the hell do my city taxes pay for?
Civil porkers at the trough?
Check out the freebie section of your local buy and sell. Never seen so many pieces of furniture for give away. Now I know why, costs more than the junk is worth to take to the
dump.
Sorry for the rant. Just p$sses me off that the local dump should be free or next to it.

If that person is thinking they have a nice new dumping spot, they will be dumping there again. They feel safe. A nice cheap game camera might get some nice pics. They will be doing it during the work day so the pics would be good day ones. Work trucks are easier to identify.

If you catch someone dumping then you got to follow them home then get a few buddies and clean up all the crap they dumped drive over to their house late at night and give it back to them.

Or just call the by-law office with their plate number and everything you saw etc.. and let them pay the fine.

You hit the proverbial nail right on the head. Its the exorbinant tipping fees that discourage alot of people from heading to the dump. I know of a contractor around here who deals in the large garbage bins you see on tri-axle trucks. He takes the stuff to one of his pits, empties them out and sorts through the garbage. Anything that can burn he burns in a back corner of his pit, bricks, roof tiles etc he buries and metal he collects for the scrap yard. If there is anything left he ships it to the landfiil albeit much lighter and still charges the customer full pop.The metal collecting is legal, the burning and burying are not. He has been reported often but he just pays off whomever and the issue goes unchecked.

They interviewed him on the news and thats when he said his wallet was stolen even though he never reported it stolen to the police. He would make a good politican, a new leader for the Libs.cou:

people like this need to be charged report it when you see it and you can legaly arrest them and hold them there till the cop's come you just have to say your under arrest

Trespassing? Indictable offence?
Dumping garbage? Indictable offence?

Just checking.

A few years ago my aunt and Uncle came home to the farm from a day trip to Regina and found 4 antelope hunters camped out in the back 40 pitching tents and starting a campfire. They drove up and kindly asked them what in the hell they thought they were doing camping in their backyard and starting fires in a pasture in the middle of a drought.

After they were done stuttering and stammering my aunt asked where they were from. Regina.

She then asked for their adresses. When they asked why she wanted to know she replied, 'Because, the next time we are in Regina we'll need a lawn to camp out on."

After she cooled down she told them to make sure to stop by the house in the morning for coffee.:)

have a quick drive around

money says the dumper lives nearby or look fo the local place that just got a new roof and ask them who did the work

Check the mcdees bag for a debit receipt and take to the police to see if they can track down the card and card holder. Then have them fined/jailed under the environmental act as shingles are a hazardous material, as well as mcdees food. People make me sick the disrespect that some people have....
If they cannot/willnot help I am sure the MNR will..

Dead on, and they WILL press charges. My buddy lent a truck to a kid, the kid was supposed to take the garbage in the back to the landfill. Buddy gets a call notifying him of a court appearance and a mess he has to clean up within 48 hours. He gives the police the name, address and phone number of the kid, end of problem.

If you think the police won't do anything about it, give it a whirl. Use your kitchen garbage with lots of receipts. The fine STARTS at $500 and goes WAY up from there depending on the volume, content, and irritation level.

I believe the property owner reported it to police. An inspector from a nearby city lives right across the road from his house.;) The pile had been "sorted through" somewhat when I was there monday, so I suspect they were looking for evidence.
