Hello,
Using my Lee Hand Press and 4 die pistol set, I loaded 3 rounds during the last few minutes of lunch.
I messed up, as I do quite often - but I'm not sure how unsafe it is to carry on. Here's my problems:
1. After seating/crimping the bullet into the case, I can "spin" the bullet around. I can't pull it out by hand, but it does spin in the case. I think because I didn't seat it far enough when I crimped it, then tried to seat it a bit deeper. My question is, can this be fixed without pulling the bullet? Is it unsafe to try to shoot it?
2. My crimp was too much and there was a bulge in the case under where the bullet is. Can this be fixed as well? If I run it through my factory crimping die, there's still a bulge, but can I still shoot it safely?
Thanks in advance?
