Second Double Gun Classic (Side by Side Get Together)

It was nice to put faces to the usernames and hopefully my dubious memory will remember some of the real names for the next shoot. Because there MUST be a next shoot!

A great bunch of guys which shouldn't come as a surprise; they shoot side by sides after all :)
 
Well another double gun shoot is in the books. And what a great turnout! I had a great time meeting all the new folks, and it was nice to see the guys I met at the first shoot. Count me in for round three!

I have a good one firing Grand Dad's Lafeuchaux with Black powder loads - doubles !:cool:
 
Thanks to all for a great day. Could not ask for a better group of guys to get together with. I will try to post a couple of pictures tomorrow. It would be great if everyone could send me a PM with their name and email address and we will plan for another one. Based on my weather forecasting skills, I will not be the one picking the date. LOL
 
Great event and excellent company. I'm looking forward to the next shoot (perhaps with some pheasants over pointers, lol). A big thanks to Patrick and Rick for coordinating. Thanks to Oshawa skeet and gun club for their patience. Real nice facility. I would definitely recommend an event like this for those guys sitting on the fence. It was my first time out and I'm glad I attended. It was nice to meet like minded individuals and a classy bunch you are. Who knows, I might even pick up a sxs for the next shoot.

Nice Pics Patrick

If anyone else is like me, with the number of people attending this last one, it gets hard to connect faces to names and then to gunnutz nicknames. So I'm proposing all who attended (and who want to) post a photo of themselves on this thread along with their first name. I'll go first. Anyone who reads this shotgun forum probably already knows my name is James and this one is of me and my little Fox SW last year with a turkey that I took in a surprise run and gun situation.

Nothing like knowing names and faces to continue building our little SxS community.

 
Great idea James. I have also sent out a message to everyone to collect names & email addresses so we can plan the next one. I will not pick the date because the weather has not cooperated with me on the first two!!
