Second Fn Ps90 In Canada

I had bad results with the SS197 in my PS90 :(

It shot about 3" low at 100m, and the accuracy was all over the place. I'm just gonna stick with SS195 for now.

Why does the FRT keep saying '50 shots' ? shouldn't it say 5?
For some reason they put the full capacity in there first, then they list a new like -34 with 5 shots. I'm not too sure why they do that.

Same thing with the FS2000, said 30 shots for the 1st one I registered, and 5 shots for the 2nd. Go figure.

so does that mean that ur legally allowed to have 50 rounds in the mags that are registered for that rifle???????????

The CFC says "yes'.

But we know, they aren't the ones enfocing the rules.

The law still says "centerfire, semi auto, 5 rounds".

So, it doesn't matter what anyone else says ya can or ya can't.

what sense does it make to have one entity creating rules that another entity wont enforce? Doesnt that make the first entity null and void?

I'd love to bring these in from the USA. However as Questar stated before, no export licenses will be issued for these firearms...

JR

JR why not source them from a european source ??, and get them factory with the short barrel :)

Forgive me if this sounds rude, but why wouldn't you buy one with either an 18.5" barrel or a 10"?

If it's going to be restricted, why not get a shorty? A 16" seems so aggravating given the amount of money you spend on them.

I'd love to be able to offer both a restricted and non-restricted varient... But we'll see what we can dig up.

BTW, Kudos to those who have them... I'm personally jealous...

The PS90 is manufactured with only a 16" barrel.

You CAN use a 10.3" P90 barrel on it, and CMMG is manufacturing new 10.3" barrels.

CMMG is currently evaluating the Canadian market to see if 18.6" barrels would make sense for them.

Thanks. I was under the impression they were already availiable. I really couldn't see why someone would go for the 16" before the 10.3" or 18.5"

16" isn't aggravating if you are in the USA. It is just above their SBR rules (short barreled rifle=class 3 firearm).

The PS90 is pretty cool, but availability of mags and long-range ballistics might be limiting...

That's why I would prefer the FS2000.
The civie barrel is 17.4", so a 18.5" wouldn't look too awkward...

My sentiments exactly.
