Seeing Double!!!

470 nitro express load

We just had a baby...where's my government cash?

And as soon as I get some loads together I'll be touching them off. Or, as soon as Woodleigh get off their duffs and dole out some load data.

if you have access to a fax machine I can give you a bunch of reloading data from a reputable source , any Muskox ,or bison in your area , Bob

Congrats on that then.
Sadly, you have to live Down Under to be bonused.

Load data is easy.
Hodgdon lists loads for their own powders on their website:
http://data.hodgdon.com/cartridge_load.asp

And here is some data for other powders from Nick Harvey's Practical Reloading Manual. He's an Aussie gun writer, author and experienced hunter and is quite reliable.

Sorry it's a bit blurry. I wouldn't worry about Woodleigh sending you data. Their bullets are identical to the old Kynock ones so you'll be fine with data published by the powder companies.

wow nice gun i would love to have a double rifle in a 300cal for mooses hunting .thy are a dream to shoot i shot a freinds in 300hh aand 375 hh thy do make quit a boom DUTCH

Bring it with you next time you come south, ...we have the standing rest at the range and we also get spring first! Loads for mine were easy to regulate. Now maybe the club can plan a big bore or double shoot, ....there's a few around the north. Drop a note if you need any loads.

Find a copy of the A-Square Manual

500 gr bullet H-4831 - 104 grs - 2002 fps
108 grs - 2076 fps
113 grs - 2167 fps

There is also data for R-15, IMR-7828, R-19, & R-22 with a 500.

Barnes Manual -
500 gr Banded solid - IMR-4831 89 grs - 1854 fps
98 grs - 2078 fps

Also has data for H-1000, R-25, & VIT N170.

I also have the Aussie manual by Nick Harvey with data for both 500 and 600 gr bullets, Kombi has that covered.

Let me know if any of this stuff is useful to you.

Wives!! We are lucky sometimes aren't we! 2 yrs ago I went to WSS with a backpay cheque from work to by a Savage in 17HMR or a 700 SPS Varmint in 223. Took my wife who had heard the whole story for more than two weeks and my buddy from Calgary who was visiting us. Found the Savage right off and was ready to do the deal when she asked me what the other rifle looked like (she knows nothing about firearms but is slowly learning) and that she wanted to see it. John the gun clerk got one out for me to look at. After my buddy and I finished handling and praising it, my wife tells John "he'll take both and I'm paying!!"

God bless our wives and good luck with the new Merkel. Now I need to convince mine I need an African rifle for our hunt/photo safari to Namibia next year!!!!!!!!

Wow great rifle! Congrats on the gun and the baby!

And you should be getting the Child tax credit or whatever its called, $100 per month for ammo :)
