Seeking help repairing a rare Sjogren Inertia

the current spring is clearly completely out of spec, i need measurements from one that is not damaged to have accurate measurements
unless you think it has been replaced with some inappropriate spring the number of coils and wire diameter should not have changed on a worn out spring. 10-25% reduction in overall length usually means the spring is done.

I'd still talk to the friendly folks at Wolff's, along with some detail pictures and measurements of the coils...
- They most likely be able to either match it to something current, or make one.... Then they could sell you one that is probably too long, and you just trim it as needed.

They've been known to enjoy taking on odd projects

Beautiful find! Hopefully someone here has the original mainspring dimensions or knows a good source for replacement parts. It would be great to see this classic brought back to proper working condition. Good luck with the restoration! 👍
