Semi auto 20 gauge

I was fortunate enough to pick up a Beretta Teknys in 20 gauge, mine came with the Xtra wood which was fortunate because this gun has seen a great many trips to the field plus a fair amount of sporting clays action. This gun has done it all for me. Thousands of target rounds, some steel ammo and a bunch of Tungsten Matrix. I like shotguns with 28 inch barrels, I find the 26 inch models just too light. FS

Surprised no mention of the Franchi 48AL. If I was looking, that one and the Montefeltro would be on the short list.

Yup, the 48AL is sweet. Mines a 28, but the 20's can't be that much heavier.

I wish more of these gunmakers would think outside the box and make their 20ga semis and pumps in 24" and 26" bbl instead of the old 26/28".

An Ithaca M37 or 870 Wingmaster 20ga with a 24" bbl would be of interest to a few bird hunters. Same goes for a few semis.

You can get short barrels for the remington 870s (not wingmaster though AFAIK). I'd love a 24" barrel Ithaca FL/UL

Browning makes the BPS in 20ga with a 24in barrel, they used their brains on this one.....a keeper.

Yesterday, I emailed Ithaca and asked them for a 24" 20ga FL/UL.

They replied today and referred me to the Canadian sales rep. What's he going to do for me? He sells them, not builds them.

Maybe they give their dealers a hacksaw as part of the dealer's kit for "custom" orders.

Moms got one. Really nice gun. too bad she never uses it. I might have to start using it.
