The one place here in canada that does have parts, won't sell them. Yet they recognize the cross border issue, but would not at least "try" to come up with a solution.
Although, like i said, from a legal point of view i know their concerns, but there must be a way they can legally cover their ends, while still being able to tend to the demand with their much desired supply.
I personally would be willing to sign a waiver, a contract, etc. stating my full responsibility of, and intention for, parts bought from
them, if to cover their end of the deal legally. If only given the opportunity to purchase such parts.
I do not know how i could explain it much clearer if that does not suffice.
This has nothing to do with importing parts, i am saying:
The parts are already in canada, it would be convenient if they were made available to average canadians.
edit:
so...
hows that semi mg42 workin out Michel???
I really want to buy one....do you have the A OK to make them yet????????
??????
OK to make, yeah, but i'm waiting for an okay, or well information regarding a receiver. They've yet to get back to me on that. Don't know how long until that comes unfortunately. I'm trying to contact the US supplier of the receiver stampings, for their batfe approval letter stating the non-gun (non-receiver) status of the stampings, to possibly further persuade the legal importation of the parts into canada. Just playing the waiting game for now... *sigh*
