Let me know if you need a partner. I just installed a Troy QD single point sling mount(to look cool), made a deal on a Vortex Sparc and am buying the best compensator possible. I will also cheat whenever I can get away with it. :p:stirthepot2:

Yes, I have received flack in the past for buying something because the "best in class" was using that particular item. For instance I was on the fence about buying a Mossberg 590A1 SPX then watched some guys demolish everyone at a shotgun challenge using them. I finally made my decision to buy one after that. Sure I know the same people probably could have won with 870s (which I also own) but it does give some merit to a purchase. Plus, the people were also wearing Mossberg shirts. :stirthepot2:

I still would have bought the Sparc if Pocat didn't get first place though. :p

kidding, I too would buy the sparc if it would absolutely cowitness on my gun .. unfortunately my expensive taste has lead me to the holy grail of red dots with the H1/T1 micro ... what to do :confused:

have you considered the Bushnell TRS-25? It looks like a pretty good little sight for a fair price. Very similar to the Aimpoint Micro's but at a fraction of the cost. Wouldn't suggest it for an AR style platform but for a CZ/VZ or swiss arms I would.
 
Yeah I was just talking to someone about that in another thread - looks like I can pick up the TRS-25 for $90 USD vs the hundreds they are asking for it here. Might be worth a shot, but if it breaks ill be pissed and wish I had bought the better one to begin with
