Service CQB Stats! 8-13-11

As stated above, the barrel length on the gun isn't going to matter for this event. You aren't moving though rooms, negotiating corners, or moving from target to target with any great urgency. I've used a 16" gun both times and did ok. Maybe I'll try a 12.5" next time just for fun....

I think the CQB term is used because it isn't a typical service rifle shoot with ranges in the 100-500 length.

To me, CQB has a very different meaning than the 'Service CQB' shoot, but it's a good way to differentiate from typical Service Rifle.


Agreed. Service CQB is what I'd consider a basic training vehicle for the troops. Once kit and weapons are mastered and familiar, there (s)would obviously be a "next level" for those going into harms way.
