[SFRC] Easter Sale on the ammosource.com!

You are actually one of the main reasons we turn the other warehouse off sometimes. We were back logged with orders at the other warehouse and all the emails you were sending made me decide to turn it off so we didn't get back logged again. I'm sorry you don't understand that we run multiple warehouses across the country to help reduce shipping costs. By turning off the one backed up warehouse it means we can get everything shipped out quickly so people don't have to wait for their orders.

I think I probably speak for a lot of customers here, most of us would rather wait a bit longer for shipping if it means having full access to inventory during a sale.
Right now, when items disappear or stock tightens right as the sale starts, it comes across as restrictive, even if that’s not the intention. From a buyer’s perspective, a consistent and transparent sale or a deal matters more than fast shipping.

I fully understand and lots of people understand there can be delays during a sale. If we get 4000 orders on a weekend it will bog us down. Others like the person who was posting before you don't understand and think there is some type of conspiracy even when we explain to them that we are back logged with orders on some sales. Because of this we sometimes turn it back off but slowly turn it back on over the course of the sale.

We make sticker draws up weeks in advance...the whole months draws are preplanned the month before. If it disappeared during a sale someone bought it. Marlins are really really hard to get at the moment and we stock them all at our main warehouse when we have them in stockI

I can confirm that I bought the 1894 Marlin SBL in 44 RM during the last flash sale. Just happened to be in front of my computer when the email came in and placed the order immediately. It didn't turn into a sticker draw ... the draw was already running at that time. Definitely feel the need to clear the air here.

I think they should just be honest with their shipping times. Say a minimum of 1-2 weeks, with the chance for it being 3-4 and that would alleviate a lot of customers complaining. As much as people should be patient, we live in an age where generally if items don't ship within a week, there is usually a problem or a they missed your order. That would probably slow down orders for them, but some people need the items they order in a timely fashion. I'll still continue to buy as I always have, just be up front and honest with shipping times. I appreciate the sales, always the best price with them!
