I don't understand anyone who would defend the killing of a snowy owl. Even less the person that would call it "just a bit of fun".

I think I'm going to go shoot a baby elephant and put it over a large open fire. I will use penguins and bald eagles ran through the blender to make a stuffing. Mmmm. And for an appetizer, Snowy owl paste on crackers with an olive. Yum.

Luckily this thread has contributed greatly to fostering a better image of us hunters as conservationists and protectors of the ecosystems all wild life require to survive. We do agree that owl paste likely would not go down without vast amounts of beer and with today's economy, it just ain't worth risking all that beer.
