Shadow 2 Holsters Recommendation?

Looking to do my Black Badge course in September, was curious to know everyone opinion on a holster for my Shadow 2;

1. Blade Tech Classic CZ Shadow 2 Holster with Long Drop/Offset Adapter

2. Ghost Thunder Holster

Make sure whatever you get keeps you within ipsc rules. Must be at belt height and 5cm of body.

Bladetech is usually fine but some of the drop offsets lean out too much and need heating and bending to bring gun back into body. I also see more guns dropped from bladetech types than others but more so in 3 gun sports where you are not always drawing pistol at the beep.

I like the daa stuff. If you splurge for the alpha x you get great adjustability and future proof for use with other guns by changing the insert.

Look at cr speed wsm and ghost too.

I wasn't aware of the rules (haven't done Black Badge yet). You're saying that the drop and offset ones from Blade Tech aren't compliant? You mean 5cm away from the body?

I have both and the Ghost Thunder is what I use these days for my S2’s in both IPSC and 3 Gun. Lots of configuration and adjustment options and imho it’s a great value for the price.

Like it so much just went out and bought a second Thunder as a back up and so I don’t have to keep switching the holster back and forth between my IPSC and 3 Gun belts.

Red Hill Tactical gets my vote, been using one for IPSC/USPSA for the 3 years and have no intention of changing back to DAA or Blade tech.

Yes, the DOS ones can sometime lean out too far
