So I am planning on purchasing a new hunting rifle and scope to go along with it. I want to invest in good optics for this gun, so I am leaning towards getting a swarovski Z3. Right now most of my hunting rifles have bushnell elite 4200's on them. I have a feeling that if I have one gun with a swarovski, I won't want to use any other gun with the bushnell's. Yet I can't afford to outfit every gun with such high quality glass. Does anyone out there swap one high quality scope around to different guns, instead of settling for a great scope on one and decent scopes on the rest? Does it become too much of a hassle? In practicality it seems like a great cost effective option to afford good quality.
