Thats not the way I hunt either, however it is legal, and I won't harp on anyone who hunts high fence ranches....hell most of the African hunts are on fenced properties with 1 watering hole and a blind 50 yds away...and people call that a hunt of a lifetime.
I dont personally hunt that way, but if someone chooses to, then that is their choice and your opinion really means f**k all. You can form an opinion about so many ways to hunt that you can turn yourself dizzy. Hunting cougars or bears with hounds where they drive them up trees...thats an easier shot than that ram hunt.
You hunt the way you want, and respect that some people may not hunt the same way you do.
Ok, so lets remove all standards and definitions so people can claim what they like and pat themselves on the back. Hell if thats the case, I am now a professional football player cause I can toss the pig skin in the back yard, and figure I can do it. That works too right?
And frankly I don't care what they do in Africa, I wouldn't hunt with an outfitter that runs a show anything like that. Your comments on the dogs for cougars and bears tells me you have never done it. The norm is you run your freaking bag off and then hope for a clear shot while trying to suck enough oxygen in to make the black at the edge of your vision go away. Oh, and the animal is wild. It doesn't come running to the sound of a quad revving like its damn dinner bell.
That was plain killing, not hunting. There is a difference; I know as I have done both. And according to the rest of the posts here most agree with my position, and that means it is popular opinion and that does matter. Popular opinion is what democracy is built on. I want to live in a free land where it is their right to do it legally. I also want to have the freedom of speech to call them wretched posers when they call themselves sheep hunters for doing it.
