just received my grizzlies and the lady from canpar actually requested a hunting license because she "thought" she shouldn't give me a gun despite already showing ID. I finally just said screw it and gave the liberal a look at the pal while her heart stopped and she stroked out for a minute after realizing theres not one but two grizzly arms boxes. but it brings up the topic of maybe a little bit more discreet shipping? cause its not hard to put Canada ammo and the grizzly arms box into what is actually in the box.

I dunno i'll let it hash out here between everyone.

I would have asked her for her supervisor's phone number and dismissed her on the spot. Or asked her to wait at the door while I got hold of Canpar. If you did not show her your hunting licence what was she going to do? Refuse to deliver it? What would be her reason when she went back to the depot with your package? Lodge a complaint, even if it goes nowhere it will be on her record for one year. Effing Anti's!

LOL!! I agree 100% with a little more discreet packaging. I've received several packages in the cardboard box the rifle/shotgun comes in with the label and name of the firearm right on the package. More importantly the serial number was written on the outside! Gotten a few funny looks cuz of it.

I love CanAm so not complaining but I think it would be a great idea to cover up the label and serial number... that would at least make it less likely for someone to steal the package or be scared of it. Hell... duct tape would work. I'm easy.

I recently ordered a ammo can threw CanadaAmmo, and that being said, it took a week to deliver to ontario, and the carrier was Canpar, and... befour i signed, i mentioned my full name, he then said to sign, and befour giving me the package he noticed it said CanadaAmmo on it.. and he asked again, whats ur last name? then he confirmed it with whats on the package befour giving it to me.... Bud just give me my ammo can, take my sig and get on, im thinking to myself...lol 1 week delivery whats up with that? none the less, good service from canadaammo...

I would have told her she wasn't qualified to look at my hunting license. If she has been shown with proper I.D. that you are the recipient on the package, that is all that concerns her end of the transaction.

Where did it say "CanadaAmmo" on the box?

It says CanadaAmmo on the shipping label.

Interesting - I've ordered several times from CanadaAmmo and it's ALWAYS been discretely packaged. Last time was the 1600rds 5.56 Norinco ... delivery guy commented that the packages were very heavy when he came to my door but didn't ask or comment beyond that.

Last crate I ordered said something along the lines of "Small Arms Cartridges" on a label on the box. Not sure if that's a requirement, but I'm really not a big fan of it. My landlord knows I own guns, and all are properly stored, but I've found people to be somewhat...unforgiving, when it comes to large quantities of ammo. I buy in bulk because it's cheaper, same reason you buy anything in bulk, but people see a lot of ammo and immediately think I'm going to war or something.
