shipping concerns?

just received my grizzlies and the lady from canpar actually requested a hunting license because she "thought" she shouldn't give me a gun despite already showing ID.
I hope I never get asked for my hunting license, as I don't have one. Never have.

Last thing I ordered from CanAm, I had it sent to my work as there's always somebody there to receive packages. lol

My wife opened the do to a canpar guy.
He had a crate of .223,
My wife said he winked at her and said "he knows what this is" and that he just received his crate the other day.

Thanks, it must have only been one day when they switched over the shipping software because I have never seen it and the current ones do not say it

I think my last order from you came under that return address also. I'm not complaining, it happens, that's a fairly innocent slip up. The packaging did not reveal what was in it otherwise. I think the one box was a fertilizer box and the other one was black shrink wrapped.

However, for the record, I don't think I will buy anything from you guys again, just because of the lack of professionalism from Canpar. We'll see, you keep putting up deals that are rather irresistible, but the stress level I had with the last one makes me very hesitant. Feel free to edit out my post after you read it, as this complaint isn't direct at you, but I would like you to understand what happened. Basically Canpar has decided that they no longer deliver to my house; I don't know when this changed but I understand that it is reasonable given that I'm out of city limits. Anyways, this means they sign for receiving my package, and note that it has been 'left at dock for P/U' or something like that. The 'dock' is entirely unsecured, and I was told to just go there and find my package. The warehouse that their dock is at is shared with 3+ other couriers, with many people coming and going. I found another package from you guys there for somebody else, but not mine, and there was no Canpar employees present to help me or supervise my rummaging through packages. I called their local number, which is just an answering machine, however it notes that you can pick stuff up between 7am and 8:30am. So, I came back the next day at 7am, hoping to actually talk to somebody who worked there and have them help find my stuff... Well, there wasn't anyone there, again, location entirely unsecured. However, more packages had been moved around, and I did find my stuff after searching around again. It also took them over a week to get it to PG, when their tracking estimate was only 1 day. I get nervous when their tracking doesn't update for over 72 hours; I'd purchased a shotgun from another vendor and they lost it for a couple weeks before it showed up on tracking again and made its way to me.

I was massively relieved to get my order, but the stress was NOT worth saving $20-30 on shipping. If you would offer the option of paying for shipping and having it go through somebody else, I would be much more likely to purchase from you again. FWIW, I've ordered from you guys multiple times and this was the worst Canpar experience thus far, but it appears that it will now be the typical experience.

We now have a dedicated CSR from Canpar. I will discuss this with them.

CANAM ships with Canada post if you request on order, that should solve your prob. Canada post offices are not left unattended for pick ups.

But you are right about Canpar is a bit shady, they lost my 8.5 grizz mag last week when shipped out, no fault to CANAM, but can par cannot find the missing shot gun. And CANAM did exactly what they are supposed to do when shipping. And they shipped me a replacement shotty that I received today. Thanks CANAM!!! I had no problem waiting, because of canpar's mistake.

I would really like to have the option to get my stuff delivered via Canada Post. I don't mind the extra $, saving me a 24km run thru the traffic (In Quebec City, people drive their cars like they stole them). I know that Canada Post is quite reliable, and the post office is just 2km away. Private couriers are good from business to business. I can't afford a day home waiting for a parcel that may showup two days later. Canpar is what is keeping me away from buying ammo or reloading components thru internet. They manage to come a day before the projected day, but I was working…

Had ammo delievered by Ups from SFRC once. Crates of ammo was left front of the door and my house is locate in suburban which there are many ppl take walk around the area.

I have had several ammo deliveries from Canadaammo through Canpar - always found the delivery people respectful, friendly, & not at all nosey. Simply had to sign my name and take my package.

its not CanadaAmmo problems if Campar got cheap labor that dont care about the client.
FedEx and UPS got bad and ugly too. depends on the people you get.

At least the girl working at my local Canpar depot was really cute, sorry... Helpful! I got my parcel the same day that they attempt to deliver. The box was in better shape than any box delivered by UPS!

I've ordered ammo a few times to Grande Prairie and it's been good. One time nobody was home upstairs to answer the door, the delivery guy calls me on my cell and goes "if you're home I got a box of shells for you." He was cool about it.

"why do you need that much ammo?" I have the same response every time, " I's gots a lot a killin ta do."
One of the anti's u may say that to when they deliver, can call the cops after you make that comment, weather it be jokingly, saying a lot of bs about you to the cops. Guess what will happen next?
