Shipping times from canada ammo?

And if you get something that is defective don't even dream of a return.

My last purchase from Can Am was my last Purchase from Can Am.

My combo 1911 had a part break. Free shipping label to send gun back and a new 1911 sent right away. No warranty wait time or questions !!! Iron clad warranty.

Just got an order in. It wasn't the fastest shipping but it was free. I spent over 200. Got a free pack of targets and a red pen shaped like AR15.
I found they had the cheapest price on 9mm ammo. Steel cased. Looking forward to trying it out.

Same for me- last time. After the Visa was charged I waited for 6 weeks more. I complained and the only response I got was a negative trader rating. THANKS.

So I called canada ammo this morning and spoke with Ryan. He was surprised I didn't get the confirmation email or the email with tracking info. He told me it was in the bay waiting for pick up by can par.
He sent me a email with the tracking number immediately. So I know it wasn't just a case of lost emails through filters etc.
Reguardless helpful and polite customer service
Definitely A+ I will buy with confidence any day

When did you place your order?

I recently bought some ammo on the 25th and by no means am I in a rush to get it or complaining about it, just wondering what kind of time frame I can expect.

In my experience they are slow to ship but if you are in a rush give them a call and they will get it on the next truck. I have now learned to stock pile and I am never in a rush for ammo, besides with their prices and free shipping I don't mind waiting.

That doesn't sound right because it's the complete opposite of my experience. When I had an issue with a rifle they were extremely helpful and unbelievably quick to get the problem corrected. Can't say enough about their customer service with me.

Agreed.

This is kind of a myth about online gun retailers. No place waits a week to ship stuff out. Its about backlog. IMO their prices are good cause they don't have 30 people packing overnight orders and they don't run a retail showroom.

The wait is worth a bit of $$ saved.

:agree: No worries on my end. I've got my goodies in a timely manner, some quicker than others, but I
still get 'em none the less & with extra goodies tossed in. CanAm is cool!

Ordered April 10, E-mail with tracking number received April 17, delivered in west GTA April 25. So 15 calendar days but there were two four day work weeks in there.

No targets or pens but I have lots of those.

First time customer of Canada Ammo

Well, I too have put in an order last week for some 9mm and so far I have been billed but have not received so much as a verification email of the purchase (you know a "thank you it's being processed etc.)
BUT, I've seen the posts many of you have made so I'll relax a bit but I'm used to receiving an acknowledgement of the transaction and being appraised of the status of the order (ie Shipping detail, shipping ref. number).
Hmm, lets see how this buying experience goes

No, not in junk mail either. When I ordered my DA 556 couple months ago I got sale notification and ship notification, but this time nothing. Now if Canpar can just get it here in a timely manner, Vancouver to Powell River, 100 km. can be anywhere from 3 days to 12 days.

Incorrect. We ship out 200-300 orders a day, in general. Canpar arrives to pick up around 3PM Pacific and Canadapost at 3:30, Loomis, if we schedule them, just after that.

That's good to know. I just ordered a SKS sight adjustment tool last week and was about to call them and ask them why the hell I haven't gotten it yet. I only live a 4hrs away so it shouldn't take a week. I bet they send everything out that gets ordered at the end of the week instead of at the end of everyday.

Correct! And even more when we receive a giant shipment that we have to unload, fit into a warehouse, move things around, while shipping other orders out, maintaining staff levels, shipping out even more because the Norinco .223 arrived and orders doubled and tripled overnight, then it's a long weekend, then a staff member is on vacation and another falls ill with the flu and sometimes things get delayed.

We always do our best and always get orders out as fast as possible and we are working on new systems to speed things up all the time but unfortunately not everything always runs according to plan or perfectly.

As it stands, our current service levels are to process the order (which we are forced to do manually, every order) within two business days of order; usually this is done within one. We then generally ship within three business days from the point of the order being processed (unless it's a restricted).

Some things unfortunately delay that slightly and we did admittedly get a little behind around Easter, but things are beginning to normalize and everything should be caught up to minimum service levels today or tomorrow and even better than that over the next couple weeks.

Thank you.

Hey folks I ordered a case of ammo from Canada ammo last week. I was wondering what your experience is with them and shipping times? I didn't get a confirmation snail from them either which seems odd for online ordering. I emailed them but have yet to receive an answer

Our apologies to anyone who has recently not received confirmation emails, status notifications or shipping confirmations with tracking info recently. We just found out from our server host, in their words: "something went pear-shaped with with the email server and somehow your system generated emails have been blacklisted from the source, so many, if not all, your automated emails may not be going through. We do not know how or why this happened but we are working on it."

They are still working on it. As is our dev team on a separate solution all together.

In the meantime, if you are concerned you can plug your order number and postal code into the top right of the site and get an update there, or call us or email paul@canadaammo.com

Otherwise, one way or another, we'll have the issue fixed as soon as possible.

Thank you.

Agreed. They have been nothing but excellent for the half dozen orders I've placed in the last year.

The only time I waited was when they had the 1911 +1000 rounds of ammo deal. Took them a while to get through the hundreds/thousands of orders they received.

Haha, I barely slept for almost three weeks during that time, between processing, invoicing, assigning, transferring and checking on transfers. Yeehaw! Can't wait to do that again when the T97s arrive.
