As you posted this in the "square range forum". Nothing will beat an F-class Bipod. Google Star shooter, Rempel, M-pod, Joy-pod bipod's.
Bag's are nice, and IMO you should learn to shoot off them also. If you're going to buy some look at the ones skullboy makes. They look like a good product.
It all depends on what type of shooting your talking about. Crashing out into the bush in the back forty, or at a range? Known dedicated shooting spot at your house/farm that you have an area always prepared? All those questions can change the answer you will get.
I use an eberlestock back pack for all my hunting, and I practice a tonne off of it also at varying distances. The joy for me though is I can reach 850m any time I want at the farm.
