- WTF is a carbonium frame?
- ..revolutionary aerospatial aluminum alloy (Kynetium™)
Kynetium is a word that only exists on the Rudy website.
Sounds like snake oil to me.
1) optical quality of their lenses is excellent with no distortion even thou there is lots of curvature;
2) warranty on the lenses;
3) tons of all kinds of lenses to choose from;
4) lenses swap in seconds, so if I shoot in AM, I can use one set, another set at noon and another in the evening - all giving me excellent protection, light transfer and contrast;
5) frame is light, comfy, adjustable, customizable
6) hmmm, I don't see any negatives, just positives for this combo
I bought several cheaper shooting glasses, including ESS, none compares. Oakleys seem more of the name than function to me personally.
Carbonium - material, look it up on the net; more or less carbon fiber, light yet strong.
Kynetium™ - key is
Trade Mark symbol, the word is made up, they can call it whatever they want and register as trade mark, just like iPad, Venzo, Timex, and so on.
