Shoot it. Doesn't take deer long to settle down and go back to normal routine. IMHO.
I say its good practise, see a yote while deer hunting to shoot it, no deer will be behind it.
My buddy says let it go, shooting will scare deer.
Who's right?

I've shot bucks and dropped them, and when I walked up, had their buddy bedded down beside them on more than one occasion. I've shot bucks and walked up tot hem to have ms. Doe staring at me, and then wander away. I've shot bucks and have other bucks go over and sniff them while I watched from a distance.
Gunshots don't spook animals much really, it's humans wandering around that does. Sure if you shoot and miss, reload repeat several times, Mr, Buck is gonna leave, though![]()

If you are hunting with others ask before you get in the bush. If others think its a problem then you must respect the group & let the damb things pass. Coyote hunting is great training and should be done by all hunters, just not when hunting deer with a group. Note too that on a push coyotes will often leave the bush before deer, a shot then can skrew up the hunt.

Arch,
Perfect. Now you're clear to go shoot some coyotes! Do it!
