Browning lever in 308 is an option, compact and lightweight(ish), points well, quick follow up shots. My dad ran one in 358 win. for years. In some cases accuracy can suffer out to longer ranges but for a brush gun within 100 yards it works good, iron sights or a dot is all I’d run on thatHi yall, Looking for a short barrel 308. (Left handed options)
I was thinking the savage scout.
Also saw the ruger scout, but that seems a bit pricey.
I would like it to be around 16-18" .
Any suggestions on what is out there?
Thanks
