Just because it says issued doesnt mean printed, in my case it was "issued jan 2" was told it was printed on the 4th but the letter i got with the card said jan10th and i got it today.
Nothing usually shows up online until about 20 days after they receive your application and there's a mandatory 28 day waiting period before they can even issue, so I'd give it a week or so before you call.
Does calling in to enquire about the status send you back to the end of the queue?
I think BC CFO is seriously extracting the urine! Its been sitting with them since Dec 16th; Received at the CFC Nov 8th and all interviews completed Dec 15. I've called twice a week since and get told nothing except its with the CFO and to expect a delay....Delay because I keep calling in and get sent to the back of the queue each time maybe?

So the wait has finally come to an end today, plastic has shown up in the mail, postmarked Jan 10th yet "issued" online on Jan 2nd

No I don't think so because I called almost one day of every week after they receive my application but I sweet talk them each time
When you call the toll free number follow the prompt until you speak to someone
I think it 1, 2, 2 then I think 1
When you use the ext.# 7514 when you are lucky enough to get someone they aren't so pleasant so I stick to the prompt. Good luck
Really don't matter at this point I'm just happy to see issue at least I know it's on it way. And I can now actually go and purchase my first riffle and pay some money on a pistol. SKS and Ruger P95 / Taurus PT140

No worries, but editing quotes can get you in trouble.
My application showed that it was delivered to the CFC on Dec 21st (thanks canada post tracking) and I'm on day 27 and still no information is popping up online. Will calling do any good or is this one of the stages where you have to sit on your hands and "try" waiting patiently
Normally they show on line within 3 or 4 days after receipt. I would call and politely ask if there is any missing information. Tell them you know it was received on Dec 21 and you are concerned as to why it has not shown on line yet.
Mine was 3 weeks till it showed online. They are a bit all over the map I think. To nitpicker's point you could call and try. I did this as well but they told me it to simply keep checking online and to verify any missing or wrong info once it showed online.
My pal took 3 weeks to show up online. Received by CFC 8-Nov-12.
Finally today I got: "Current Status: Your application has been processed and your licence has been issued." Woot! Now just a wait for my physical card. Whew. It really didn't take "that" long to get it. But the main wait is finally over. 2 Months, 9 Days from Receipt to Issue. Mailbox to Mailbox? I'll let you know when it's finally here.
