You can resent that all you wish to.. but it is the truth. You can have a tantrum over such all you like but it will not change the reality of that statement including the FACT that is about ALL of Canada not one area specifically.

I'm not one of those sitting around and #####ing about the CFO's BS etc.. I'm one of the few that is actually doing something about it.
Therefore I am not needing to "get over myself" at all... if anything it is the complete opposite.

Somehow I doubt you can say the same honestly.
 
Update:
App received on May 6th.
I called last Thursday June 20th and. Was told it was just posted and to call again in a "few weeks".
I asked if I could do my interview; they transferred me and I was interviewed right away. My references called in the next day; sothat part is done.
Hopefully the process gets completed soon, it's been a long timeline.
I've been reading and am not looking forward to the club membership and ATT hurdles. Seems it's one horror story after another.
At least here in southern Ontario.....
 
I waited 6 weeks from stamp lick till I got the envelope with my new PAL in it in the mail.
But that was a simple renewal with 6 months overlap until the old license expired.
I applied in the spring (May, June) which is the off season.
If you apply in the early fall with all the new hunters you're going to wait longer.
 
now at 9 weeks since app received and it shows as processing online. call every other day and they say it is at least another month. in ontario btw. This is Effin BS guys.

It is indeed.. but unless many of those suffering through such raise hell with the various politicians etc.. it will remain the same or get worse (which is what the CFO wants)
 
My app was sent via express post to miramichi delivered 19/06.

From successful passing of test on 26th of may , I think they should tell people when they pay, to expect a long wait!

You will find some instructors that are honest about such reality as well.. but the CFOs (esp the ###### wyatt) are infamous for watching/spying on instructors and they "dare not" say a "mean word" about him etc etc... or they have their authority to be an instructor revoked.
 
Hi all, just joined after lurking for awhile and this thread was a big help.

Here is the history of my application to date:

May 01 - Mailed application
May 06 - Received in Miramichi
June 11 - Posted online
June 20 - Called in to ensure no errors or missing info
June 24 - Interview completed


Going to give my references my app# so they can get their interviews done.

Received and signed for at Miramichi on 16th May....

Just called them and they said it is entered into their system very recently and they even gave me an Application number, but i cannot access the statues online, is that normal?
