Shorten PAL Approval Times

3. Credit card charged: Jan 26th
3. Showed online: Jan 26th
4. I called on Feb 24th.Instructed to have one ref. call.
5. Ref. called within the hour.
6. Online status changed to license processed and issued: Feb 27th.

Now waiting for the postman.
Stats:
52 days from dropped in the mail, 46 days from received, 32 days from online, 3 days from reference called in.

You are about a week ahead of me. Mine was received, and I give a friendly call in every week. On Monday I called and they said to call back in two weeks. I will call back on Monday probably. At least makes me feel like *some* progress is being made.

Get your money back from the government? Lol!! Fat chance. But In all seriousness, I don't think the fee is refundable. You came this far to get it...might as well get it done, no?
 
Question about processing.. As careful as I was, I went back and reviewed the copy of the App I made and realized I didn't SIGN the payment section (but I signed the App, and yes, i'm an idiot)

It received in Mirimichi 2 weeks ago, but doesn't show up online - Any advice?

Mine was received December 16. Still in process... Slow Dbags!
 
Below is a record of my application process for my RPAL. I'm from Toronto, Ontario.

January 6, 2015: sent application by registered mail.
January 9, 2015: application arrived at Miramichi.
January 30, 2015: (day 21) application shown online and $80 payment cashed.
February 25, 2015: (day 46) had my reference call in.
February 28, 2015: (day 49) online status: processed and licence issued.

ATT is the worst. Buddy is on about 3 months waiting. What I am doing is "buying" a spare pistol off a buddy and submitting right away that allows me to save up and buy what I want. Once I get the ATT I will then "sell" it back
 
Mine was too today strangely. Im sure it wasn't on Friday and don't usually check on the weekend as I assumed all the offices were closed. 80+ days. From Sask.

My STATT's were approved instantly on the phone and faxed to the dealer, my LTATT's took 7 days to arrive and I'm still waiting on my registrations Monday will be Day 10, hoping I'll be legal to head to the range by mid week this week.

Yeah our range has an affiliate program that lets you get an LTATT.

So your approval was about 6 days faster than mine and you put in 2 days before me.
 
Phone them, they recieved my paper work for RPAL on Dec 17. Finally after 71 days i was tired of waiting and called friday just passed Feb 27, no interview just talked to one reference (co-worker) who was there and finalized. 5 min later online as completed and should see it in the mail within 2 weeks. If I didn't phone them it probably would have been 71 days.
