Shorten PAL Approval Times

Born and raised Canadian, I had one check of yes but hold all medical (health and psych assessments) to qualify. Only issue I could see is my background check is a bit difficult as I’m not able to get my medical records prior to being 25. Even through FOIP I can’t get it.

Well crap, that sucks man. You're probably on the money on the medical record side, the CFO people seem to often hold up proceeding due to waiting for one document (which they often won't explain). TargetedIndividual is probably right, call more often, the squeaky wheel often gets the grease

Still waiting, from June 24.

Had a ‘personal history’, but no criminal record or convictions. Just arrests from being around the wring crowd, almost ten years ago.

Ontario CFO claims they are ‘backed up’.

My wife took her pal course on march 16th, Restricted on march 17th, we promptly submitted all documents including a range membership as that's held me up in the past, even used a photo we took, we used the online application system, says they recieved submission on march 18th, checked status today April 16th and her pal is in the mail.
We are in BC that has to be a record of some kind, under a month start to finish.

Took my course on Feb 22nd 2025 and received the PAL last week of March/first week April
