So today i got a call from the cfo and I have been approved! let the shopping begin!![]()
My wife's application was received via registered mail on July 31 and it is still not in the system and no credit card charge yet. She will call on Monday.
i agree with sveinn84. it took that long before it showed up as even in their system and then it took 4 months from then to get approved. but each province is different i think. i saw people from BC get their approved in 28 days!
good luck dark_1
I am in Bantariotook 4 months from the time they got it into their system. so really that, plus the 28 days, plus the initial 2 weeks to get the letter from the cfo originally to say i took the course instead of the minimal time it should have taken if the system was actually setup to work instead of designed to work against us.
Wait 28 days first. No point in calling before then.
^^^^^ this all first time licenses have to wait 28 days before the application is entered.
When I spoke to them on the phone last week it was suggested that they were about 3 weeks behind in opening the mail (eek- vacation time? dunno)
Perhaps that scenario is the more applicable factor?.
They always say that regardless of if it's true or not.
Gosh, are you saying there is a pattern?

In order:
#1 Not true.. they only need the #.. period.
#2 also not true.. since that would be dependent on if it is in storage/use/transport/use at the particular time.
Hmm,well cabelas website asked for the expiry on checkout... never tried to type in my license # to see if it would let me skip the expiry, but that's ok... I just bought I nice rifle in store and will wait until I get my card in the mail... the wait is killing me, lol.
Thanks for the reply
