Shorten PAL Approval Times

My appilcation was received on 2012/11/09
Showed up online 2012/11/29
Called today and they said that all that was left to do was to scan my picture
Hopefully it won't be much longer, but I have no complaints so far, I can understand why things might take a little time and really 6 or 8 weeks isn't that long to wait.
BTW the lady I spoke with at the CFO's office had the ###iest voice that I have ever heard lol
 
My timeline for RPAL

Application received Oct 30th
Appeared online about 3 weeks later
Myself and my references contacted Nov 28th
License printed/issued on the 29th (Thursday) which debunks the Friday printing theory
in my hands this morning Dec 3rd

Mail box to mail box 35days. Pretty darn quick if you ask me.
This short delivery time should give some people hope haha. It also helps to live near NB. I'm in Halifax

I wouldn't get your hopes up...

Mine was received Oct 16. Still waiting..

Ironically my buddy who submitted his a month prior got his a few weeks prior to my continual waiting period.
 
Hey everyone

Anybody know how long it takes for the license to be issued in Quebec? RPAL application was received on 10/30, online on 11/25 and still waiting for interview. I called in last Friday and they told me the file is with the CFO for approval, wouldn't transfer me. So who does the interviews, the RCMP or the CFO?

RCMP called me for my interviews

I'm pretty sure that if you're applying for an RPAL they will be interviewing you and your references. I'm not sure how it works between the RCMP CFC centre and provincial CFO's but maybe once the CFO office approves it it's kicked back to the CFC centre for them to do interviews and then issue/print/mail etc.??
 
My app has been at the CFC for 14 days now. I'm hoping to see it online Monday.

The waiting is killing me lol.

Received today. 1 day after my b-day.

49 days total wait after it was received by them.
 
Hey Ontario folks, how long did it take for you to get your results back from the Ontario CFO? A buddy of mine just passed the course and I told him to send in the forms but he said the instructor said that they're now processing results faster so it's not a long wait ie as in 4wks like it did for mine back in April.

I passed the combo course on the 18th Nov, received them Dec 3rd with a "stamp date" of Nov 27th, 15 days total pretty good i thought

So I think the postman is messing with me this is the second day in a row that I have checked my mail and there has been nothing there. (not even a flyer) now i'm worried.
