Oct 21 Posted express mail
Oct 25 Reveiced at miramichi
November 1 Application not online, called in #1
November 8 Application not online, called in #2
November 15 Application not online, called in #3
November 25 Application appeared online, credit card charged
December 15 45 days mark application still at miramichi, called in #4
December 22 Application is received at Quebec CFO, called in #5
January 06, No interviews yet, called in #6 was told 2 more weeks until interviews

time for you to raise all hell with the MP / MPP's etc.. the same as the rest of us and get into the fight!

same situation bro。 every time call in the qc arm officer let me to wait another 2 weeks that reason is high volume application。。。。
 
Aww man that sucks! I tried to justify that i didnt have to the money to buy a gun so i didnt mind if i had to wait for postage. Hopefully mine makes it through, i guess ill have to wait and see.

7 work days Dec 2
12 work days Dec 9
17 days Dec 16
18 days Dec 18 processed, in progress. Money was taken
21 days -->21st of December 1 full month (including weekends)
23 days Dec 23
28 days Dec 30
33 days Jan 6th
38 days Jan 13
43 days Jan20
44 days -->21st of January 2 full months (including weekends)
45 Work Days January 22nd


(Total Including weekends)

They say being processed and that it could take 45 days when you finally see it after they took your money....49 days so far on the 9th of January
 
just a heads up. I spoke with someone on the phone to find out why my references hadn't been called yet. I was told due to the volume of applications they have they are not calling references. Instead they are sending out letters asking references to call in.
 
Update on mine 50 days (37 work days) after mailing it, it's been issued i should receive it within 2 weeks whooo ! lol

Have your references call in, ext 2533. Give them your app #, they'll need it when they call in!

Due to the volume.... That's just another one of their excuses... They told me they tried to call me and references, they phoned no body, call display is proof. They try to delay to make it more of a pain to acquire the licence.

i applyed in september and i havent heard anything so far....i dont think ill ear anything ever... dont waste ur time and money just go out and shoot ur gun...these people at cfo are a joke
 
Miramichi received my application on Dec 3th. And they now say that the 45 days won't start until the received the upload of my picture in their system, from the Qc CFO !

What is that ??? A new procedure to make us wait even longer ?!??
 
They received mine in early November, i called in for interview in mid December, now my references have been having trouble calling in due to nobody picking up. Ext 2533 in Ontario.
 
I applied September 23/13 from B.C. Got a letter from them end of November asking me to call in, which I did, they just asked me some questions and verified a few things on my application. My references got the same letter, they both called in last week. It's best to call first thing in the morning or at the end of the day so you don't spend forever on hold. I called again yesterday and was told that its been approved and I should be receiving my actual card in the mail in the next week to 10 days. (so far, 112 days waiting (80 business days) but part of that was one of my references not calling in until 3 weeks after she received the letter, so make sure your references call in asap!)
