Has anybody cut Norincos M14 barrel?
Would diamond blade cut it nicely?

To re-crown: do you need any special tools
or I can use Brownells crowning kit?

What is the size of the suppressor thread?

Buds you may want to go to the ValleyGuns website, Jeff has all the info. Further to that, send him a email etc. Cheers

problem with doing it by hand. the cut is likely to be crooked. need a lathe to face off the end and recrown it nicely.

You don't need a diamond blade. A hacksaw will do it. A parting tool in a lathe would also work. Be careful with the chrome plate in the bore. A Brownells hand crowning set should work, with the advisory that I do not know how it deals with the chrome. I prefer to crown on the lathe; use a sharp tool, cut from the bore out.
Which suppressor? The original cannot be remounted unless you machine grooves for the spines. In that case, the muzzle threads would be the same as they were originally.
Otherwise, the muzzle will have to be threaded for the unit that is going to be installed. Measure the diameter carefully, there are variations in barrel diameters. You want to make sure the unit you have chosen will fit.
