It worked very well for my first 40 rounds, but was $22/box :(

American Eagle .308 FMJ seems to be the best deal for plinking/accuracy combo. About $13 a box around here.

Just after I ordered this deal I traded my .270 for a nice M14 shorty on the EE. Tracking said it was to arrive the same day as my CanAm shorty but it arrived today. Happy Friday to me! :D

I'm in the same boat, but mine left 3 minutes and 47 seconds earlier so I should get mine first

No way its coming through this part of Ont first ...so there and dont try tell me anything different dammit..Ok gotta get off this damm compter ..Sorry ;)

Seriously? 621's been processed? My order 605 is still Received and Not Processed! No justice in this world.....grumble grumble grumble followed by Yosemite Sam type swearing.

You think you feel ovrec
I'm rifle/ammo deal #572. As of today still 'Received and not yet processed' This thread is killing me....Not slagging Canadaammo, They rock & I bet they are working their tails off! I'm just thinking at this point it would be better not knowing.

...that's why I said "for what it's worth", re: tracking number.

I'm hoping for another Barrie clinic...failing that, I'll try for Ottawa...9 hours + for me.

Krispy Kreme?:)

[/IMG]Courier finally showed up; seems he's had the package on board for 2 days but didn't feel like driving the 200 klicks to our end-of-the-known-universe town.

The little yellow bags shown at lower left seems to be oakum soaked in oil, and they were tied to the sling supports & the trigger guard. The still drip oil.

When you lift up the trap door on the butt plate, some wrenches, and doodads slide out of one of the tubes. Removing the 2 screws on the butt plate releases the rear sling holder which is held in place with the longer of the 2 screws.

My big question for you guys... how do I get the waxed-paper cylinder out of the other tube in the butt stock? I tried pulling on the webbed strap, but it doesn't want to come out, and I don't want to break anything on a brand new rifle.

Thanks for the pics finbar , The stuff in your butt stock are the cleaning rods , Im sure if you yank on that strap harder it will all come out as it is just a hollow tube .Maybe try using pliers or vice grips to grab the strap and pull harder dammit...lol Its good to see we get the ratcheting chamber brush as well.

The pics of the other mags looked riveted but yours doesnt ?? Maybe yours just looks that way in the pic.....So is it riveted to limit the mag capacity or does it have the long blade on the follower ?

Thanks

Yeah, the mags are riveted to 5 rounds capacity, but they painted over the rivets with black paint, so the rivets are hard to see,

I'll pull hard enough to get a hernia now that I know what the strap is supposed to haul out of the other cylinder.
