shotgun carry ideas

I now have a refined version of this carry on my Maxpedition Monsoon gearslinger. (blue force gear vest adaptor and loop attachment) VERY comfortable to carry and the utlimate in low ready(or hands free) to point and shoot. A Breacher's sling is also an option, but nowhere near as comfortable for extended periods.

The most practical way with out adding tons of gadgets is to store your Fabarm on the Top of tour pack. This could be done by placing the shotgun under the flap cover or if you have top straps use them around the fire arm. We carried much longer firearms in the military this way.

Your Fabarm is short and likely wouldn't give you much grief in thick bush. But if it gets in the way use a bungee cord from the firearm to a carabiner on the back pack shoulder strap. It will swing a bit but it is practical, handy, cheap and nothing can go wrong. It might not look 'COOL' . I'm for things that really work without too much complications.

Who here sells those again, and how much? :)

Are these pictures of the attachment to your gear slinger??

Anybody have pics of a 3 point sling system that they can post, or links? Looking for same type deal but would rather carry muzzle down. I don't know what to do!!! :runaway:

You can get a more low profile carabiner & in different colour (so when you drop it in the bush you'll never find it  ).

Nice set up. Lokks like you can get to work with that shot gun in a split second. Nice.

Do not use a three point sling, they are obsolete.

A Vickers sling (combat two point) will allow you carry the same way Nine has shown but will control the muzzle as well.

I was wondering about muzzle control..with a single point would the gun just kind of dangle around...?
