I really like the HoloSun HS510C that I have on my Derya MK12.
Even took a turkey with the setup this spring!
Cheers

I am a huge proponent of MRDS on shotģuns. I find a circe-dot reticle such as that offered by Holosun to be ideal. Here's my Benelli M4 14" "Entry" with the Holosun 515C in a High mount to clear the Laserlyte Green buckshot patterning laser mounted on the same rail.

Bead came off mine, LOL.

You should d&t a picatiny rail on it and mount a rds, that would look hype. Maybe spray some rihno liner all over it, tacticool it out a bit for those high speed low drag wing shots.

My original post had nothing to do with hunting , I specified fairly early on in the thread what I use the shotgun I’d put a red on for. I have an baikal single shot as well that I can bang clays all day with. You jumped in with a vague “fudd” comment lolThe thing is, the barrel is so loose that it rattles around and keeps throwing the zero off on a red dot.
This is the tactical shotgun forum and in that context I really shouldn't be ragging on sights on shotguns, however because it became framed in the context of hunting, I'm thinking in hunting terms, in which area I'm personally a bit of a shotgun purist. If I'd gotten the rail when I bought my used Benelli M4, things might be different, but it had been removed and lost and I haven't replaced it. And it's a restricted anyway, not legal for hunting.

I have shotguns with bead sights, rifle sights, ghost rings and rds, they all see use which lately is hunting. They all get me to the same place, meat in my freezer. You should try using one in a non traditional way, they are lots of fun and are quite capable of doing it. I try not to limit them to one type of use, to each their own though!
Naw. Like my northern friends, if I was say hunting tame grouse for meat, I'd use a .22. I really do have a personal dislike for treating a shotgun like a rifle for hunting or emergency bear defense purposes, and for the various reasons I stated in these shotgun forums in the last few days. Handguns, same thing but that's another topic. As are door kicking practices.
And as far as that goes, who can tell me where to buy a replacement rail for my Benelli M4 Entry?
I noticed you have an Olight on the other side, have you had it long? How long do you get out of a full charge, I’ve been looking for a 500 plus lumen light that I can swap around between a couple things and it’s one I’ve been looking at.
My experience to date with the Olight brand has been exceptionally good! The 1200 lumen Valkyrie runs off of 2x CR123 batteries with an estimated run-time of 70 minutes. The smaller PL-2 compact pistol light is a rechargable unit with an impressive 600 lumens and a magnetic USB charging cord.
I haven't had any issues whatsoever with my half-dozen Valkyries and PL-2s - they are tough duty-ready lights at an outstanding pricepoint. Try them and I bet you will order more!
I put an Aimpoint H2 on one of my SBE2's this spring for turkey hunting. I patterned my loads and centered the dot up. Now I'm confident I'm getting the most pellets on target
Stay away from vortex crossfire red dots for shotguns. They work great on rifles, not so great on shotguns.
