Shotgun sub sections? (mods?)

Outlaw would be zombie gear for Fudds? :D You have to fight the deadites somehow. Boomsticks are clearly the tool of choice.

You do realise there is no such thing as "Zombies" don't you ? Even if there was the outlaw would not be my first choice. I would choose something that would at least shoot to point of aim.

Mall Ninja?
At least it would be reliable and shoot to point of aim. Unlike the "outlaw"

I thought they called that the ee. I see a lot of guys selling there shorties not to long after they buy them.

We get the picture, and we all know the outlaw is not accurate. Some people like them, and some sell them quickly.

Gotcha.

I live close to Vancouver's DTES and I beg to differ!

Anyways, not every major gun forum has seen fit to split up their shotgun section and I don't see why we should bother on this one.

Ummmmmm. No.

Tactical would be mall ninja :D

Tactical/Black or Sporting are the only two for me. Outlaw would fall under tactical by virtue of it's bad assedness. (Short barrels)
I'd trade "bad assedness" for accuracy, reliability, more than two shots and a reduced chance of shooting my forward hand in a tactical gun. YMMV.

By virtue of its shoddy construction, flying forend, tendency to shoot a foot high and barrels that rarely shoot into the same area code I don't think the Outlaw qualifies for inclusion in tactical.

So we'll need a third forum. In addition to Sporting Shotgun and Tactical Shotguns, I think you've provided the name for the third forum:

Badass Boomsticks.

Should we consider 3 then:

1) Tactical
2) Sporting
3) Junk?

:)

Is 3 gun competition not sport?

Not to mention I use my Speed feed pistol gripped 870 for trap shooting as well as Turkey hunting. I used to use it for 3 gun matches but now I have a 590A1 for that so my 870 will only be used for hunting and trap shooting.

O.k, win/64 and claybuster did the outlaw pick on you? I know shotguns dont have hands but did one touch you? You know, down there.

Have ether one of you shot one?

If the forum gets all divided up will you two still show up to b!tch?

Sorry. I though I was pretty clear that I am talking out of my ass. I don't really care as I love all guns and I visit the forum enough to not really miss any topics. I really don't care either way. Also I think the decision of how to classify guns is also obscure, but no more so than the rifle genres.

So........I still wanna know, were you two molested by an outlaw?

Have you shot one?

Just for comparison. I read only three sections of the rifle forums, hunting, precision, and rimfire. that is what I am interested in, I have no interest slagging the others, but leave other members to dabble in main battle rifles, black & green or red rifles. Why not the same consideration for shotgunners? I am interested in sporting guns for field and target sports, but not the rest. Useless conflicting opinions are inevitable when radically different interests are lumped together. So why not two forums?

When I first started reading this thread I thought it was a silly idea, but the more I think about it, the more I have to agree with splitting it out... Rifles are not all lumped into one forum; they are broken out into sporting, black rifles, red rifles, and milsurp. Maybe it is time for the same approach to be taken for shotguns...
This is a valid point and I totally agree. I have different guns for different fun and it would be nice to be able to get the information quickly so i can spend more time on the range or field.

If you are not into it don't click on it. It is as simple as that. I don't really think scrolling with a mouse down a page falls under the "wading through junk" category. Speaking of junk, remember one mans trash is another mans treasure. Variety is the spice of life in my opinion.

Fired and disassembled the 20" version of the same gun. Complete piece of s**t. The worst shotgun I've ever seen both inside and out.

hmmmmmm, I'm yet to see a 20" outlaw.
You know that it's just a toy for grown ups, right?
The outlaws aren't my thing...........but hey,If it's a cheap way to get more guys/gals shooting I'm all for it.
It's only $300 bucks..............

So i still wanna know are you still gonna come over and tell me my friends toys suck?

The Norinco hammer guns have been around for a while and that's what the Outlaw is, Norinco hammer gun with a lopped off barrel.

If a gun is discussed here that I have some experience with then I'll post an opinion on it.
