shotshell issues

The Sellier& Belliot that I remember had a clear plastic shot cap with a rolled crimp.and yes some kind of fibre wad that would come apart and blow back in your face if you fired them into a stiff wind.got face full of that crap more than once while duck hunting.

I find the same thing. WW Supersprts jam in my old 870 which I would of thought of as a loose gun.

I've tried reloading the hulls with the same results, as mentioned before they expand upon firing and jam up. Funny I shoot a Perazzi for sporting and have had no problems with them sticking what so ever.

However I do find that the WW Super Sport 12ga 7 1/2 @ 1145fps patterns very well and is a hard hitting cartridge. And only $53.00 a flat at Le Baron's.

The Federals are ok if you don't have any firing pin issues. Their ball primer seems to cause the odd mis-fire. Other then that they're great.
