Should Crossbows be Allowed in Archery Only Season?

In Manitoba we have a few areas that are archery only, as in there is no muzzle loader season or rifle season. There are so many deer that in those areas you can shoot 3 deer, but you can only use a bow. I would really like to see that in those areas at least you could use a crossbow, in every other area I don't have much of an opinion.

Those are "near urban" areas. I agree those areas should allow you to use xbow on a muzzle tag. We should write the gov't on that one. Good topic for the Manitobahunters website!

Yes...only cause alot of bow hunters throw hissy fits over it

I don't see a problem with crossbows in archery season. Similar range to bows and basically the same huting technique(close range, etc)
