If you have not been following the other thread about Mr. Wiley Grouse, here's the story:
I have taken 3 grouse out of a pine/poplar patch recently.
One got away, and I went back to find him on three later occasions. He has flushed a couple of times, but no shot was taken, as the cover was too thick, or my partner was on that side.
The last time I did not find him.
He's a tricky one, and I'm having some fun going after him - but I've also been suprised at the number of CGN'ers and hunters that have something to say about it!
A lot of people have pm'd me to say "pass and let him breed" , or "go finish the job". Might as well make it a formal Poll.
What say you?
