Should I sell my 10/22?

I seem to be in the minority, but I don't enjoy shooting rimfire. Therefore this relegates my 10/22 to "introduce a newbie" status. So what do I do?

Not enough that I need a .22 rifle in addition to the .22 pistol

Keep the gun. You'll come back to rimfire again. I did.

Nothing else you can afford to blast off 50 rd magazines in.

.22s are a nice cheap gun you can pull out for camping trips where you don't want to attract lots of attention to yourself. Rimfire practice will help your centerfire shooting, to boot.

Mine currently has a Butler creek stock and heavy barrel, and an Outer's Bipod

Keep it. I've owned 3 or 4 10/22's and sold them. Guess what I just bought yesterday. Fun guns.

and you'll pay more for less the next time out- you never know when the gun manufacturers are going to figure out that plastic can replace steel or aluminum and is made cheaper-look at magazines- how many have plastic followers and floorplates these days- not so very long ago they were made from steel, and spring steel at that- the idea is if you wear it out, get a new one- and there's no pride of workmanship either- basically, if it's anywhere near close and works, out the door it goes- no precision at all

Sell it. If you don't use it and it's not a collector then what's the use. I don't get how people can hold on to things in the off chance you will like it again. There will always be another 10/22 if you decide to get back into them.

If you ever want to take a kid shooting,although a bolt action would be better,a .22 cal is great to show them the basics!!I hate selling guns unless they do not work the way I want them too.

Keep it, then once a year find a nice infested gopher field that you can't take a centerfire to (which so many of the truly infested fields are) and blaze away. One time we found a field and we did not move from the first spot for 3 hours, bought a speed loader because the thumbs got so sore from loading the 25 round mags
