Should I sell my CZ 75b for a Glock 17?

I have the same CZ 75B (Satin Finish) and I will never sell it. I also have a 2nd generation Glock and I wont sell that one either. Save your money and buy what you want.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the CZ pistols, and I love my Glock. But if you like your CZ75b, I'd keep it and save up for the Glock. There's a steep learning curve to mastering a Glock trigger. It's quite possible that you'll seriously regret the trade on your first couple sessions out to the range.

Maybe he is patient.. it takes a while at least it did / does for me.. but figure if I can master that all the rest would be easy :)

For my two cents worth , I would keep the CZ if I were in your shoes , Satin Nickel looks far better , and the Glock will not shoot any better than your CZ does now....but we all have our own preferences...

I've only seen and handled CZ's. Never shot them. While I'm sure they're great HG's their "Volvo" looks just don't do it for me.
I stayed away from Glocks because of their Spartan looks but ended buying a gen3 G17 a few years ago just to see what all the fuss was about. I've come to appreciate the simplicity of the G17 in form and function. Sure, the trigger doesn't break like glass but it has a great reset and is more than acceptable for fast reactive and instinctive shooting. Mine has seen a few rounds and some holster work but still in great cosmetic and mechanical condition.
When I want to shot stationary and for tight groups I bring out my revolvers. My Glock has made me a better shooter with my other HG's....but I digress.
Keep your CZ and save up for a Glock....enjoy them both.

Own the G17, G22 with 9mm barrel, Beretta 92F and 1911 9mm. Only shot the Shadow couple of times but if I had to choose just one 9mm it'd be the Shadow.

Hmmm this topic touch my heart....several years ago I sold my CZ 75b, also a satin nickel model for a Shadow, but before I put the money down for a Shadow. I came across a chance to shoot a G17 gen three, understand I hated Glock for years, no way I will spent the Shadow money for the Glock but I end up.... bought a G17 with my Shadow money. I am very happy with my choice but I miss the CZ badly.

Gents thanks all for your input. I've decided to keep my CZ at least until I can get a chance to shoot Glock 17 or possibly "upgrade" to a Shadow down the road.

I would most likely regret it if I sell it for a Glock having owned one not too long ago... Out of all the pistols, CZs are the most accurate and comfy out of box for me by far.

Dark side has to wait for now :)

Where are you located?

I think its Glock's marketing and the fact that you see Glocks prominent in movies, tv, law enforcement, military, rappers lol

You get bombarded with them so much that after a while they go from looking like a brick like tupperware to a tough mean fighting handgun ;)

Oh my god the blasphemy, why oh why even consider such foolery!
Keep you cz75 till you're 65 years old then give it to your grand child.
I dunno whats going on over there, but i think you've been abducted by aliens and brainwashed into liking glock. No other explanation for this...
Or trade it for a shadow? Or sell it and buy one of the fancy target ones like the shadowline, shadowmate, shadow 2012 orange (i have that one) or the czechmate.
