Show me your pgw rifles

If I remember correctly Skullboy had a Coyote that he painted in a cadpat lookalike.

As Recce21 said, I don't think there was ever one that had a CADPAT stock done by PGW or McMillan.

This.

On another note.
Coyote scope not mounted. Leupold MK5. 5-25X56

Cheers.

That wasn't a Coyote. I didn't own one at the time.

That rifle was a R700 Action in a AI - AICS that I painted in TW CADPAT. ;)

Didn't Mr PGW (I forget his handle), recently post that he's about to make a big announcement recently? He sounded very happy with the post so I have hope to manage to snag a Coyote.

Slightly off topic:
Fkin cdn forces buying a dang Sako for their sniper rifles. This whole caliber change obsession is daft imho

Pgw guns in the CAF are not good rifles. Issues with head spacing, from factory.
They are not touching on the bolt lugs, only on the safety lug lol.
My buddy is a weapons tech and they have been having a hell of a time with them over the last couple years.

wtf, why the mil/civ divide? I thought the civilian coyotes and timberwolves were top shelf

Shot out?

Rumors and BS. They've never approached us with any issues, it's all just talk. Considering EVERY rifle had to pass an inspection along with shooting verification, witnessed by a government appointed Quality Assurance Specialist, I'll believe that over some weapons tech. I could tell some pretty crazy stories I witnessed first hand of gross incompetence of different trades, but I won't, it doesn't accomplish anything.

The rifles were held in high regard by the users, but that reputation has diminished by the BS that has been swirling around over the years. It's no small wonder why we didn't even bother with the latest procurement, fool me once......

ANYTHING made by humans will have a certain % of error.

Can't say I'm aware of any headspacing issues with PGW, those may or may not be true, idk. I do know people that have had issues with barrels cut with worn out reamers at PGW.

Sh$t happens, and no company or product is immune.

My biggest regret is selling my coyote.Built like a tank and put everything I ever shot out of it in a ragged hole. Fantastic weapon. The fellows I know in our military units had nothing but high praise for them. Have shooting buddies with them and love em. I killed 5 wolves and two whitetails with mine. Now I feel sad thinking how smooth it was.

Not a rumor... the weapons tech im friends with was hands on, multiple rifles fixing the issue. Hes not a QL 3 armed with a go, no go gauge... hes the one actually fixing the guns.
His comments were the ones provided early on were great rifles. The latter ones were problematic right out of the box... tons of usser complaints about crap groupings that lead to the discovery of the problem with the bolts.
He said once they got clearance on the safety lug, and contact on the bolt lugs, the head space was wildy excessive. That in turn required barrel indexing/ triming, chamber reaming to correct. It was a ton of work. Once fixed they are fine.
When was your last batch shipped to the army 2012? When was the warrenty over? Because after that point the techs/army dont really care about talking to you about problems; they just fix ####.

Wait, you’re claiming these alleged excessive headspace issues developed 10 years after delivery which included an individual inspection of each rifle?

Ok I’m just going to ignore the rest of this conversation and go back to ranting and being furious with our politicians.

I don't think that's what he said at all...

Please explain, because that is exactly what he wrote.
