Not that hard. If I was to do it again I would get one from Expedition Imports in the US. The dealer I bought mine from in Canada is crooked as hell. Mine is the more desirable long wheel base turbocharged fast axle model whic is the only one I'd consider. They can be had from Expedition Imports for 30,000$ plus shipping and taxes etc etc.
I was a Toyota guy before this and dumped lots of money into aftermarket parts to make a truck something it was never designed to be from the factory. A Unimog just makes sense, factory front and rear air lockers, shift on the fly four wheel drive, 44"x15.5" tires, 20" ground clearance below the axle, 3000 kg payload capacity. It just makes sense.
